As Project Director of the Dene Hero publication project, my vision is to celebrate the Indigenous heritage while building literacy skills and co-constructing learning resources. We published four collaborative, intergenerational books in four years.
Dene Strong was published in La Loche, Saskatchewan, in 2022.
What I Do
As a scholar-practitioner, I design and teach courses for post-secondary institutions. I also assist remote Indigenous communities with economic, community and cultural revitalization projects, skills training, capacity building and other initiatives as identified by leaders and community members.
This photo was taken when I facilitated an Educational Leadership program for superintendents and school principals from Nigeria.
I also work with organizations such as Global Affairs Canada, Catalyste+ and Education Beyond Borders to create and deliver professional development programs in developing countries.

The purpose is a personal and professional repository for information-sharing. It is not for profit or commercialization.
