Volume 4 Book Launch:
Guided by School of Business Associate Faculty Mary-Anne Neal, the Dene of the Sahtu have published Volume 4 in the Dene Hero series of collaborative books. Written by the Dene, about the Dene and for the Dene, these books chronicle their history and celebrate their home-grown role models.
Joyful book celebrations in Colville Lake and Deline were filmed by Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) for five 45-minute videos that will be aired on national television in the coming months.
Echoing the words of their ancestors, these collaborative books honour the Dene spirit, build transferable skills and improve literacy.
